Launched in 2007 in downtown Los Angeles Ca., Ashbury focuses on classic, timeless styles and wear-ability. using only the highest quality materials and the best possible manufacturing to produce sunglasses that they can really stand behind.
Recently they have partnered with Carl Zeiss Lenses, who is the leading lens manufacturer in quality. Carl Zeiss Lenses were used on the Hasslebad cameras during the first moon landing as well as to shoot movies like Lord of the Rings and King Kong.
Not only focused on quality and style, but also cultural relevance. They grew up skateboarding and now have some of skateboarding’s best standing behind Ashbury including Lizard King, Bryan Herman, Billy Marks, Theotis Beasley, Garrett Hill, Nestor Judkins, and Antwuan Dixon.
Ashbury’s goal has always been simple: make things we want to wear. Moving into the future, our goals will stay the same. We want to give everyone, including ourselves, as many reasons to want to wear Ashbury as we possibly can.
