Once a week we give a call to a Canadian shop to see check in on the state of retail, what is buzzing under their roof and in their area. This is our first edition so I wanted to start off with one of our favourite shops, Cab Clothing

What's happening in the shop?
We just moved into a new Brandon location to mark our 5th anniversary there, and we're finally settled into the downtown location and loving the ability to showcase the core brands that we built the shop with.
What brands are you guys seeing success with right now?
Sanuks are new to Yorkton, and already sold out. Across the board, footwear strong and we are really stoked to give Vans proper representation here.
What's playing over the shop stereo these days?
The Mall store is blaring the "screaming shit" or whatever metal is called these days, at the downtown store we've been rotating through classics like Mos Def and Gangstarr (RIP Guru - ed) and some newer stuff from Das Racist.
What blogs are you guys checking on?
We're super geeked on our iPad 2's so we've been flipboarding through Reddit a bunch. Other than that we're all over twitter, if we follow you we're reading what you are saying.
