In addition, eskuché provides a two-piece, premium cloth cable system and a 6.3mm adaptor enabling you to experience the headphones with multiple music and media output devices. Brand Bio - Stussy

In 1980, Shawn Stussy was a local cult surfboard shaper who took his scrawled signature logo from his foam masterpieces and applied it to tee shirts that he sold along with his boards around Laguna Beach, California. As the clothing line expanded, it's raw and modern aesthetic soon developed into the next generation of new wave beach culture. With Stussy's success came the opportunity to travel and spread the Stussy vibe. We hooked up with trendsetters in New York, London, Tokyo and other areas of the world.
Stussy clothing was inspired by this international group of musicians, skaters, DJs and artists with similar tastes, which helped to shape the brand into an international streetwear label. Today, Stussy exists as a brand with worldwide respect and independence. With over sixty stores across the globe and a very strong tribe still in effect, Stussy is a leader in the culture which we helped start over 30 years ago.  If you're feelin' the vibe, then get down with the Stussy Tribe!!!

Brand Bio - Numph

NUMPH stands for clothes with soul and personality. What the designers do today, is indeed their dream come true: free to design their ideal type of clothes - there are no limitations. The dream was to create a brand from scratch, which is different and stronger simply because Nümph sums up their experiences and creativity: cutting edge, twisted, feminine and rough, vulnerable and strong. Numph was born in a small town called Kolding in Denmark. There are about 6 designers that have been with the brand since the beginning.
“Trusting our own creativity and professional skills, we dare to live out our dreams. Experimenting with shapes, details and print is the sum of our individual experiences.”
"Like the nymphs who play in the clear water of the brook and see themselves reflected in the smooth surface - this is how nümph clothes are created. We create clothes - this is our passion. Because what we find dashing and useful will become dashing and useful to others, as long as we put our hearts into it. We create the clothes for our own reflection of the tough, beautiful and independent girl who, like us, loves to draw attention to herself by means of her own personal style."

Numph came to Canada 4 years ago and has been successful ever since. The brand has created an amazing following by putting out 6 collections a year, which gives retailers and consumers something new to look forward to every couple of months.  Each collection is inspired by animals, shapes, culture and music. Every season is different yet there are some signature Numph pieces that appear in every collection. Like the owl tee and the all over prints.
Numph is  a fresh edgy look straight out of Denmark for every girl that wants to “MAKE AN ENTRANCE”.

Brand Bio - Cheap Monday

It all started in March 2004 when the tight denim with the characteristic skull logo first
hit the market.

But to tell this story correctly, we have to go back to November 2000 when Örjan Andersson, Adam Friberg and two of their friends opened a small second hand store
in a Stockholm suburb. The store was called Weekend and was only open during Saturdays and Sundays. Despite its remote location, and thanks to a very good selection of garments, the store went well and the decision to team up with Lasse Karlsson and open up a bigger shop in central Stockholm was made. The store was a full-time con cept, open every day of the week, and therefore got the name Weekday.

Cheap Monday FW10
From the start Weekday carried high-fashion and exclusive denim brands mixed with second hand clothing — a blend that attracted young, trendy Stockholmers.
Some of the denim sold in the shop was very expensive and Örjan felt there was a need for cheaper, but still fashionable jeans. The first Cheap Monday style ‘Tight’ was born, at this point made exclusively as an in-store brand. An unwashed, very tight fitted stretch denim jean for a shockingly good price! It was an immediate success and the first 800 pairs sold out in a couple of weeks. The skull logo was made by Örjans friends Björn Atldax and Karl Grandin who previously had helped out with the imagery for the two stores.
In January 2005, Cheap Monday was developed into a brand with full scale collections and the distribution was extended to selected stores in Sweden as well as abroad.

Cheap Monday FW10
From the first delivery of 800 pairs of jeans in March 2004, the production has reached a new level in terms of pieces as well as in product range. Today Cheap Monday carry main collections for men and women as well as three in-season drops/season. The collections also include baby, accessories and glasses.
In 2008 the brand joined forces with H&M and in November 2009 the very first Cheap Monday Store opened up in Copenhagen.

Cheap Monday FW10
Without traditional marketing but with a strong idea on how to present the brand, Cheap Monday can today be found in more than 30 countries in about 1600 stores all over the world. Despite the fast growth, our original idea still remains: to offer our customers pieces that compete with high-end brands both in attitude and fashion-level as well as in quality — always at an extremely good price.

Brand Bio - Comune

With COMUNE set to step into only it's second Fall season, it's hard to not feel that it's roots lay deeper and that they have already been here for years. Below are images from Fall/Winter 2010 and text from a recent interview with Comune founder Frank Delgaillo going into detail on the brands history and what to look forward to this season.

COMUNE was formed from the idea that there will always be people out there who not only embrace the rawness and imperfections of the everyday life, but also use it to creatively push the boundaries of what’s possible in skateboarding, fashion, art, and music their own way, with complete disregard of the consequences. The goal of COMUNE is to provide clothing that reflects this lifestyle of carefree idealism and to support the people that choose to live it.

The name COMUNE derives from the idea of a very pure, creative community. In addition it stems from frustration, from the changes happening in the economic climate along with bureaucratic challenges and lack of creative support in large corporate-run companies. In a sense everyone involved with COMUNE left bureaucracy for purity. COMUNE has become the perfect outlet in which creative freedom and commerce align to form a very pure, creative community.
Fall 2010 is the one-year anniversary for COMUNE which will hit retail starting in July 2010.  This collection concentrates heavily on both coated and textured materials to offer a clean, sophisticated design direction taking influence from high-end Japanese design, while continuing to focus fabric quality, design detail and price awareness.

We think the creative process that goes into designing our apparel feels like we're making something special and unique. Typography is a huge inspiration to our feel as well as modernism and an overall attraction to minimalism. As far as artwork goes, we gravitate towards anything with shock value, but also admire beautiful things and subtlety. As long as it's not somewhere in the void between those two we are interested! We don't really identify with the urban vibe of street art but are not opposed to it. We have an eclectic group or artists, photographers, and bands we work with. Check the Drop City section of our website for complete bios and examples of our artists.
