Brand Bio: Zanerobe


ZANEROBE was created in 2002 by Leith Testoni and Jonathan Yeo - two contrastingly different individuals with a complimentary passion and vision for design. From humble beginnings in Sydney, Australia, the brand has since gained a notable reputation and has rapidly expanded worldwide.



The brand’s design ethos is deeply entrenched in traditional streetwear, synthesized seamlessly with non-conventional, contemporary retrospective themes and applications. The love of framing vintage sporting eras, reviving precious design and social elements, and restoring them faithfully in collections for au courant’ commercial audiences. 



The name ZANEROBE is implicitly significant to the brands design ideology. ZANE embodies strength, innovation and success whilst ROBE represents the propensity and willingness “to wear.” In this regard, ZANEROBE collections are specifically designed to champion confidence, popularize individuality, stimulate examination and nurture responsibility.



The Spring/Autumn 2012 “Save Our Souls” Collection is inspired by more simple paradigms; dismantling, disconnecting and shedding unnecessary elements in order to expose the fundamental necessities. The collection strips back superfluous embellishments and focuses on core streetwear styles; classic denim, essential knits, timeless jacketing, heritage tees, vintage boardshorts and traditional woven shirting. It’s all about keeping it simple, clean and uncomplicated whilst maintaining the most contemporary look and feel possible at the highest quality.
